Dayley's Day!

5 years have flown by since Lizzie and James have tied the knot.  Married in Utah, we all wore white and Lizzie was surprised with a new wedding ring set during the ceremony.  Trace, only 7 years old then, had the job of ring bearer and was very careful not to let Aunt Lizzie see it before walking down the aisle.
I remember the first night I met James.  A group of us had all gotten together at Lizzie's apartment to play Cranium.  James didn't know who "The Fonz" was!  He was a nice young man, and he proposed the same day Lizzie graduated from UCSB.  Big day!
Since the big day, Lizzie and James have had adventures galore.  First, living in Santa Barbara while James finished up at UCSB and Lizzie continued to master her skills decorating cakes.  We even had regular Sunday dinners at my house - real family time.  I also have fond memories of our Halloween Gingerbread house building night - James was SO creative...(hunh, I think I have a picture somewhere...I'll have to look for that another day.)
Then off to Philadelphia for James' dental school, and within a year had bought a house and had a baby on the way!  Now Miles is over a year old, and I'm starting to wonder when they'll begin working on baby #2... *don't get mad at that Lizzie ;)
Congratulations Dayleys!

You are so good at remembering all these special days. I know they are coming, I have even talked to you about it...but on the day my mind is empty. You mighthave to take care of me some day...perhaps sooner than later.
