Hunh, funny how marred looks like married... and this post is about that, well kind of. I was on such a roll with the whole wedding anniversary postings, and now I've lost it! I was so sure that my older sister Amy's anniversary was August 31st. I even knew it was year 15! I talked with my mom about it on Friday too - "oh, you're having dinner at Amy's Sunday? Isn't that nice that she's having you over to dinner on her anniversary..."
Ever the smart sister, I call Amy up on Sunday evening:
"Happy Anniversary!"
"It was yesterday, but thanks!"
???? Oops!
On a different note - it's crazy to think Amy and Bill have been married for 15 years. I remember meeting Bill the weekend he proposed. It was the first time any of us had met him. I believe the story goes that Amy was helping Bill in a math class at the U and they fell in love, Bill proposed on Valentine's Day officially, but I think Amy already knew cuz she called to warn/ask my parents if it was going to go over well since he was going to propose and hadn't yet met my dad or anything. (This story could be wrong - someone tell me if it is, ok?)
They got married in August that same year - three kids and I think we're on dog #4 later, they're still going strong. I wish I had a picture from then to post - it's pretty funny to see how young they really were. (Maybe Amy could post one on her blog...big dress & all...)
