First Day of School

Yesterday was the first day of school. 32 6th graders and me. It was a really good day. They are really nice kids. They sat through the boring stuff, laughed at my jokes, and helped each other when they needed it. I couldn't have asked for a better day!

I was going to call you and ask how the day went. Sheesh...I just thought, you are in the school pictures of hundreds of kids. I bet they all have crushes on you!

Sounds like it will be a good year. Being kind and nice to one another makes such a difference in a classroom. What did you wear for the first day? Did you have new shoes? Hope all the wonderful possibilities that a new school year offers are there for you and your students. Love you
